Each day, a forestry crewmember travels to/hikes out to their location of work with their group and does any tasks that are assigned. They could be working on a variety of tasks depending on the exact position. Some crews stay at remote project sites for days at a time, so that means their days include handling their food prep as a group and cooking simple meals with a stove or over a fire ring. Lastly, a safety brief, stretching, and regular breaks are also included in the day for everybody’s health. These jobs are usually seasonal with different terms, so crewmembers can expect to keep this routine for however long their period of work is planned to last.
