Educator Resources

In addition to all of the great information students can find here on the Green Pathways website, we’ve developed complementary resources to help take career exploration even deeper. Designed for classroom teachers, nonformal educators, and other community leaders who work with youth, these resources supports meaningful, guided exploration of environmental career pathways.

Exploring Green Careers with Teens Curriculum - This curriculum offers a series of in-depth career explorations organized around the six career categories featured on this website. Through interactive, hands-on activities, students not only learn about a wide range of green careers, but also reflect on their own interests, strengths, and potential paths forward. More than just learning about jobs, these explorations are designed to spark self-discovery and help youth envision the role they can play in creating a more sustainable future.

Designed with flexibility in mind, the curriculum can be used in a variety of settings, including whole-class instruction, small group rotations, independent exploration, or hybrid models—making it easy to adapt to your unique learning environment.

Project Learning Tree Career Quiz - Engage your students in thinking more about their personality, skills, and interests and what green jobs might suit them best.
